This is a new service. Rather than write a page that implies otherwise, here is exactly where it stands.
What I am not going to claim
I do not have 120 completed audits. I do not have a wall of client testimonials. If you have been comparing sourcing services, you have probably already seen a site that claims both — and you have no way to check either claim.
So I am not going to add a third version of it. This is a new service, run by one person, and the only reason to read further is that the way it is built does not depend on you believing me.
What this is
MK Foreign Trade Studio is a small China-based export business. I buy from Chinese factories for my own product lines and ship to overseas markets. The audit routines on this site are the ones I use on my own orders — they were not written to be sold, they were written because a bad shipment costs me money.
Turning them into a service is recent. That is the honest description.
What I put on the line instead of a track record
I only take categories I already buy in.
If I do not know the processes or the failure modes of a product category, I turn the project down and tell you why. A new service that says yes to everything is selling confidence, not work.
If the report is not useful, you do not pay.
Every finding in the report is attached to its source. If a finding cannot be traced to evidence you can open yourself, that portion is refunded — not the whole fee, the part that failed. I would rather hand back $149 than have you hold a PDF you cannot check.
The first five clients get the remote check free.
In exchange for permission to publish that check as an anonymised breakdown — the working, not just the conclusion. That is how a new service earns its first real examples, and I would rather pay for them in work than invent them.
You can see the whole product before paying anything.
The calculator is live, the audit report is published in full, and the 12-point checklist is on this site. None of it asks for an email.
What I will not do
Hold your money. You pay the factory directly. Deposits never pass through my account, at any order size.
Promise customs clearance. That belongs to a licensed broker. I coordinate with one; I am not one.
Guarantee product performance. An audit reports what was observed on a given day. It reduces risk and does not remove it, and the report says so on its face.
Take a factory-side commission. If a factory offers one, it is disclosed and deducted from my fee rather than added to your price.
Why a new service is not automatically the wrong choice
Established agencies have volume, and volume has a cost: your $4,000 first order is small to them. It gets a standard report, a template recommendation, and an inspector who has three other visits that week.
A new service has the opposite problem and the opposite advantage. I have capacity, I need the case study more than I need the margin, and the person who visits your factory is the person who answers your email afterwards. For a first order — which is exactly the order where a mistake is unaffordable — that trade is worth something.
Contact
Email first: [email protected]. Tell me the product and where it has to land. If it is outside what I know, you will get that answer in the first reply rather than three emails later.
